Leading With Passion--Music & Arts Festival

AKA LWP. Sept. 15 and 16. The place, St. Monica in Santa Monica. The thingy---LWP Music & Arts Festival, a dream of Cesar Marquez. An amazing soul of a person. An invitation from Sr. Edith. A concert with Kenny, Joe, Tony, Paul Ngyuen and Troi Oi.... I flew right into the concert from the Oakland Diocese event that morning. Crazy fun. Prayed and played for peace. The next day the workshops and keynotes. Msgr. Ray East brought it. Saw some cool friends, Helena, Anna, ValLimar, Frank, Alex, Vic, Mary, Gary, Marty, John, and others. Saw Ed Archer, Ed Becker, and Sean Mahon, music monsters magnifico bring it. Geez. If you're studying music, study harder and play it from the heart. These 3 tore it up with directing, conducting, and madness! Crazy. Met a very cool new friend, Msgr. Lloyd. Made time for me, as I was carrying heavy burdens on my heart. Thanks Mike N. You are a true friend and brother. Powerful Unity Concert on Saturday night. POWERFUL. LWP; a passionate act of worship, celebration and solidarity. Workshops, concerts, liturgy, local artisans, singers, dancers, and all of the unseen behind the scenes, super servants serving humbly and faithfully. All of it and everybody, a might work of passion and faith...coming again next September?
