Jodi and Jesse met while on the set of Legend’s of the Fall. Jodi was art director and Jesse was Brad Pitt’s stunt double.

Actually, no. Jodi and Jesse were doing ministry long before they ever met, and it was ministry that brought them together. Jodi and Jesse have been catechists and youth workers forever in the church, while Jesse has been a musician as well. They have both been Catholic Ninjas from their earliest childhood years. Little did they know that they were being formed for something beyond their greatest imagination.

Jodi graduated from the College of Holy Names, in the hills of Oakland, California, while Jesse graduated from the Franciscan School of Theology, in Berkeley. They founded 2 by 2 ministries over 26 years ago and are going strong in their outreach around the world.

Jodi is the most magnificent manager of bookings, calendar, accounts receivable and payable, ordering, manufacturing and shipping, airline, hotel and rental car reservations, and prayer movement and gesture instigator for all events, as well as the all around lifetime partner and inspiration of Jesse and many others.

Jesse sings, tells stories, cracks jokes, plays guitar, and provides experiences and memories that are highly volatile for the kindling of life and faith.

Married for over 25 years, Jodi and Jesse continue to teach, learn, and learn some more along the way. They have three grown children, Jesse Ray, Jayme and Jennah.
